Terms of Service

1. About Braggrfriends

Braggrfriends is a social prediction game for the FIFA World Cup. You and your friends form private groups, predict match outcomes, set your own stakes, and let the leaderboard decide who brags and who pays the (non-monetary) penalty. There is no real-money gambling on the platform. Stakes are agreed between friends and settled outside of Braggrfriends.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using Braggrfriends you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will use the service in line with applicable laws.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service, harass other users, or attempt to manipulate scores.

4. Groups and conduct

Group creators can invite friends and configure group settings. Be respectful in group names, chat, dares and any user-generated content. Content that is illegal, hateful, threatening, sexual, or that infringes someone else's rights is not allowed and may be removed without notice.

5. Predictions and scoring

Match data, kick-off times and final scores are sourced from third-party providers. We do our best to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee that they are error-free. If a match is rescheduled, abandoned or restated by the official organiser, we may recalculate points accordingly.

6. Payments

Creating an account and trying Braggrfriends is free. To create your own groups, join a friend's group and play through the tournament you need the Group Pass, a one-time purchase of USD 1 that lasts the whole FIFA World Cup 2026. There are no subscriptions, recurring fees or hidden charges.

Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Any applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated based on your billing country and shown at checkout before you pay. A receipt is emailed to you automatically and is also available from the Billing page in your account.

Refunds. Because the Group Pass unlocks digital content that you start using immediately, you can request a full refund only as long as none of the matches you have submitted predictions for has kicked off yet. As soon as the first of your predicted matches starts, the pass is considered consumed and is non-refundable. To request a refund while you are still eligible, use the Refund button on the Billing page or contact us at info@braggrfriends.com. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence always apply on top of this policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Braggrfriends name, logo, copy, design and software belong to us. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the service. You keep ownership of the content you post, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the service.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Braggrfriends online and working, but we provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost bragging rights, or any stake or penalty agreed between you and your friends.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes will be handled by the competent Swedish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Braggrfriends is the data controller for the personal data processed through the service. You can reach us at info@braggrfriends.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, avatar, login provider.
  • Game data: predictions, points, groups you belong to, dares and chat.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages visited, error logs.
  • Payment data (if you buy a paid feature): handled by our payment provider; we only store the transaction reference and status.

3. Why we process it

  • To operate the prediction game, calculate scores and show leaderboards (contract).
  • To create and secure your account, prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest).
  • To send service emails such as invites, results and account notices (contract).
  • To send product updates or marketing, only where you have opted in (consent).
  • To comply with legal obligations such as bookkeeping for paid features.

4. Sharing

Other members of your group can see your display name, avatar, predictions and score. We share data with trusted processors that host the platform, send emails, collect payments and provide match data. They only process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our processors are based outside the EU/EEA. When that happens, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards to protect your data.

6. Retention

We keep account and game data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except where we must keep it longer to meet legal obligations (for example, accounting records).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights by emailing us. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in and to keep the service secure. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set with your consent.

9. Children

Braggrfriends is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes

We will post any updates to this policy on this page and, where the changes are significant, notify you in-app or by email.
